Excellent spot. Not my first time in, but first time posting a review. The atmosphere is great. Definitely a favorite with the locals. A lot of good conversations taking place between tables. A very community feel. The food was great. I ordered the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were fluffy and the gravy was tasty. The Bacon was thick and cooked just right. The coffee was tasty and hot. The hash browns were super crispy. A little thicker than most places, a nice touch. The only complaint I could possible come up with, and it is a small one, is that they only have Cholula hot sauce. I am more of a Tobasco guy when it comes to the popular hot sauces. I would highly recommend they look into getting some local hot sauce in house and I would specifically recommed Danny Cash (my favorite). Not enough to knock off a star, but not really a Cholula guy. The waitress was incredibly friendly. I cannot say enough for how nice she was and how good the service was. 5-stars all around!

If you're traveling or just on the hunt for a good breakfast, we found it at #GoldenDiner. THE best chicken fried steak I have ever had, served with crispy hash browns, eggs, and awesome rye toast!! My son, of course, ordered the Mountain Man Burrito filled with 2 meats, your choice, hashbrowns, peppers, onions, eggs, topped with the green pork chili sauce. Hubby ordered the breakfast tacos with brisket sausage, eggs served with crispy hashbrowns. EVERYTHING was 😋 delicious! The most amazing experience. I was greeted as soon as I walked in, and served coffee immediately! Ordered the Avocado Benedict and a screwdriver- both incredible. The place itself is so quaint yet comfortable -beautiful decor and friendly strangers gathered around the bar. In conclusion, great service, great food/drink AND great atmosphere. It was a very pleasant warm welcome to Golden!
Service was a 10. Everyone was super nice and helpful from the moment we walked it. The food was amazing my family and I cleaned our plates clean. The Campfire omelet and chai French toast is so good! Highly recommend for a great breakfast meal.
First time in. Wanted a delicious sandwich to go but didn’t have a ton of time to wait. The chef greeted me right away and said he’d start making my Reuben, super friendly and kind. The waitress was also sweet. Was in and out so quick! Reuben was fresh and the rye held up well to the sauerkraut. Also, the fries super good. Definitely get the horseradish mayo for dipping.
I ordered the round up with the chai french toast (which I cannot recommend enough if youre going to visit). The food was delicious, the french toast had just enough spice where you could taste it but it wasnt overpowering. The brisket sausage was also delicious. I personally don't like breakfast sausage, so I was a little hesitant to order it. Im so glad that I did, because it was sooo good. The service was fast and the waitress was kind and helpful. I would say that it's not a 50's style diner, but a modern diner, which was refreshing. I will definately be back for more of that French Toast.
Don’t walk but run to The Golden Diner in the beautiful city of Golden. This diner has all the classics and fresh fun new additions to meet everyone’s tastes. My husband ordered the Round Up and he was in love with the pancakes. Extra fluffy and delicious sweet syrup to soak in all the flavor. I ordered the avocado toast which was so fresh, clean, savory with the bacon bits sprinkle across my perfectly poached eggs. Runny and bright yellow with extra crispy hash browns. The perfect combination of healthy and savory breakfast. The mimosas were excellent and wonderful presentation for an elevated feel. Our waitress was so sweet and excited for us to join them. Highly recommend this place and super quick service
We had a great experience at The Golden Diner. We joined the online waitlist on a busy Sunday morning, and the wait was only about 15 minutes. It was easy to find, with plenty of street parking nearby. Service was fast and friendly, and the food was excellent. The extra-large pancakes were a big hit at our table. You can really see why they have been serving great breakfasts in Golden for so many years. We will definitely be back.
